Slate of Nominations for the Election of New Council Members and Officers of the ISPD Elected at the General Assembly during the General Assembly in Mexico City, July 2010 The following members will have to be replaced because of the end of their term: J Burkart (President), S.J. Davies (President-Elect), S. Naga (Africa), T. Wang (Asia), A. Rodrigues (Europe), R. Mehrotra (North America), F. Schaefer (Pediatrics), V. Price (Nurse). In accordance with the ISPD Bylaws (Section 4-A-2), the nomination Committee has proposed the following Slate of Nominations:
Council members (who shall serve at a term of 4 years):
According to Bylaws section 5-A, any voting member may within sixty (60) days submit to the Secretary/Treasurer alternative nominees with a written brief resume of qualifications and verification of willingness to serve. If being nominated for President or President-elect, the nominee must have served on Council or as a committee chair within the ten years immediately preceding the upcoming election. Alternative nominations for any officer must be supported by at least ten (10) Members of the Corporation. At least 60 days before the General Assembly, a final written list of the nominees will be sent to the membership. The ISPD Nominating CommitteeW.K.
